Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love my students' enthusiasm and curiosity for learning. They come from low-income families and all qualify for free breakfast and lunch, which makes their resilience and determination even more inspiring. The requested resources will significantly enhance their learning experience.

My goal for this project is to create a supportive and engaging learning space that nurtures my students' love for math while improving their academic performance.

Including precut tennis balls for chairs, composition notebooks, a digital clock, multiplication flash cards, and math posters, these items are essential for their success. The tennis balls will create a quieter classroom, allowing students to focus better during lessons and while working on math facts. Composition notebooks will help them organize their thoughts and practice problem-solving, fostering creativity and critical thinking skills. The digital clock will aid students in managing their time effectively, ensuring they stay on track during lessons and activities. Multiplication flash cards will provide engaging opportunities for students to practice their math facts, reinforcing essential skills. Math posters will create a visually stimulating environment, serving as constant reminders of important concepts and encouraging a love for mathematics.

With these resources, I aim to inspire confidence and cultivate a growth mindset in each student, empowering them to achieve their fullest potential. Despite the challenges they face, my students are eager learners who thrive when given the right tools to succeed. Together, we can make a lasting impact on their educational journey!
