Calm Sensory Rich Corner

Help me give my students a calming corner to build regulation skills for emotions.

My Project

Help give my students a positive environment filled with calming sensory tools to aid in building self regulation skills. My special education students need a special space to practice calming skills and to just be able to take a break from the classroom environment or work when they are needing space. The tent will renovate a break corner to a space more inviting to my students. The rug and weighted animals will give them tools to self regulate big emotions independently. The lights offer a fun and inspiring experience while also promoting a sense of calm and piece.
