My Project
My students are bright, curious, and full of potential—but many also carry big emotions, attention challenges, or social struggles that can make school feel overwhelming. This year, we’re excited to launch a full-time Behavior Specialist role to give students targeted support in emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and social skill development.
The resources in this project—SEL books, sensory tools, flexible seating, and behavior reflection cards—were carefully selected to meet students’ needs in real time.
Whether it’s a student learning how to calm down after a conflict, or another practicing how to make a better choice next time, these tools will make those teachable moments possible.
Our students deserve a space where they feel safe, seen, and supported. These resources will help build that space—one where they can learn to pause, reflect, and grow socially and emotionally every day.
