Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will consist of all students K-6. My classroom will be open to any and all students who could benefit from a calming environment and working to understand the many emotions that our small bodies are full with. We need bookshelf, rocker chair, play tent, composition notebooks, and wobble cushions.

Allowing for a safe place for all students who need time to reset and understand what they are feeling is important.

These items will be used to help students create an emotions and feelings tool box to use when emotions and feelings get the better of us. Understanding emotions and feelings and where they come from is an important life skill.
