My Project
I absolutely love teaching first grade. The students are curious, resilient, and full of potential. They come to school each day eager to learn, even when faced with challenges inside and outside the classroom. Their excitement when they grasp a new concept or help a classmate is what drives me as an educator.
This corner will assist in de-escalating the students and will allow my students to have a safe space to go to in the classroom.
Within the calm down corner, they will be able to regulate their emotions without having to be seen and judged by the rest of the student body.
