Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project aims to provide the student with a space in which he/she will feel safe recognizing and processing their actions and emotions in a productive way. Calm-down corners will help students regain their feelings when they are running too high or when they're confused. These spaces will be made special for students with comforting objects and comfy materials that can promote mindfulness, breathing, and reflection.
By donating to our project, you will allow kids to be aware of their emotions and identify so they can better regulate them.
Ultimately, this helps to increase student attention and focus.
