My classroom is full of bright, lively third graders who love to learn. Many of my students come to school hungry for knowledge. I strive to engage all students in the power of learning and create lifelong learners who recognize the importance of learning and reading daily.

My Project
My students are in need of sensory and fidget materials to stock our calm down corner. The calm down corner is a research based strategy which allows students to take a break from learning, calm down, find their center, and rejoin the class.
Everyone deserves a break once and a while, and some students require more frequent breaks.
These materials will help students learn how to identify and manage their emotions as well as practice mindfulness techniques. Each of these skills will help my students grow into the future leaders of America!
