This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will love the materials inside this project. Our classroom practice social emotional leaning with recognizing feelings of joy, sadness, frustration and more. When students are having big feelings they can go to the calm down corner tent to have some privacy and help regulate their emotions. They will be able to use the pillows to rest on, toys to fidget with, books to read, and posters to practice different breathing techniques. The goal of this project is to help ensure students have a safe and calm place inside the classroom to mange big feelings.
