My Project
Students of all ages need a safe place to express their emotions and self regulate at school or in the classroom. Many classes do not have the space or resources for their students to learn or grow their social emotional tool kits.
Giving students tools and a safe place to land when dysregulated, helps them learn their personal needs when it comes to emotional and physical regulation.
These tools will benefit my classroom by giving students an opportunity to learn what their body needs to regulate and give names to the emotions their feeling. This helps de-escalate future behavioral events related to social emotional/ physical dysregulation.
