Calm Down Corner and Headphones!

Help me give my students supplies for next year including headphones and some calm down corner items.

My Students

My students attend a Title I school, so a majority of my students come from families with low incomes. Some of them are learning English as their second language and having hands-on and very visual learning experiences is best to really help them get the vocabulary and be successful as they are in the later years of elementary school.

My students are full of excitement about learning and love coming to school!

The students I work with are full of great questions and really care about doing their best. Some of them are dealing with some challenges in life, but they are all wonderful kids and a joy to work with!

My Project

This project is going to be used for headphones, a calm down corner, and classroom incentives. My students do a reading and math program online each day-being able to have their own headphones helps them take responsibility for an item.

Using a calm down corner has been a part of my classroom for a few years-some new items help refresh and replace vital items.

Being able to have a place to go regulate their emotions is important.

We are going to use some of the items as a classroom incentive. This will go along with our school wide PBIS program.
