This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These are sensory items to help students in a special education classroom focus during the day. The students have a variety of needs. Some items will be used to help teach emotions and other items will be incorporated in teaching students how to regulate emotions. A few other items are to facilitate small group instruction. I would love to add a flexible seating Beanbag Chair and Balance Ball. Not all instructional aides have access to a Dry Erase boards or their own erasers. A Dry Erase board will help all instructional aides have access to lead their groups. Markers and erasers will help each group to have their own supplies.
