Calm Down and Reset Space

Help me give my students a calm down space and resources they can use to help them regulate their emotions.

My Project

I'm a school psychologist and serve two schools. These requested materials will help my students in a Title I school to regulate their emotions and further engage in learning.

The "wiggle" seats are used to assist students who need movement input to assist their attention and focus.

They will be able to move about in their seat and attend to instruction. The bean bag chair will be used to create a calm down space in my office where students can come to assist with deescalate and reset their emotions.

The fidget items will be used in the calm down space to allow students sensory activities to help them regulate their emotions as well as could be used within the classroom setting to assist with their attention to task. The requested books will be used to help students with identifying and managing their emotions.
