My Project

A Calm Cozy Corner creates a warm, semi-private retreat for high school students facing social-emotional challenges. Plush cushions, soft lighting, gentle partitions, emotion charts, stress balls, breathing tools, textured pillows, timers, and choice boards foster self-regulation, emotional awareness, and mindfulness. These targeted sensory tools support coping skills, enhance focus, and reduce class disruptions—empowering students to engage fully in learning The goal is to build a safe, inviting space that nurtures autonomy, resilience, and social-emotional growth.

The Corner celebrates our students’ creativity, empathy, and resilience.

By honoring their unique strengths and providing tailored support, we help them thrive academically and emotionally in a caring environment.
