My Project
Help me create a space for my students where regulating their emotions feel safe and comfortable.
As we are nearing the end of the year, I am hoping to have my classroom ready for the upcoming students.
Our calm corner went through a rough patch because in kindergarten we are learning how to properly control our emotions and ask for help. I would love to upgrade this safe space to ensure my incoming students have a comfortable, clean, colorful space to regulate their emotions. Having a calm corner in the classroom helps with social emotional learning as well as classroom management. It is a wonderful tool for both the teacher and the students.
