Help me give my students a space in the classroom to decompress and regroup.

My Project

Students spend a lot of their time in the classroom and I would love to create a space in the room where students know they can go to decompress and regulate. This would be a safe space that students know they can go to at any time and have resources to help the calm down

These items will be an open resources for students to use in the classroom either in the calm corner alone or to help them during lessons.

The bean bag is to have good comfortable seating available to them. The fidgets will also be provided to use in the calm corner but also take and use during lessons. The blankets and the weighted stuffed animal are just other tools for regulation throughout the day and to help their wind down time be successful.

This will benefit the students in not just my class but in all of their classes because it can be a time for them to recoup and conquer their day.
