This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are full of fabulous energy that they bring to all their assignments. They are adjusting to life post-Covid and have been sharing things about their lives many of these topics can be difficult to deal with. Having a space for them to be alone to think or a space where they can quietly talk to a teacher shows them that we care about what happens in their lives. Having a space with flexible seating, such as bean bag chairs, will help them rejuvenate and refocus, so they may continue their day full of learning.
