My Project
Our classroom of learners who have Autism is constantly changing and growing to meet the needs of our students. Students who have Autism typically have high sensory needs, which are met in a variety of ways. Recently, I have realized a large component of over stimulation is the bright, florescent lighting in our room. The bright lights produce "noise" for their brains, making focusing and operating in our room difficult.
Providing blue light covers would reduce the light noise in our room and increase student abilities to work and succeed.
I am requesting packs of peaceful blue sky light covers to cover our current lights and provide a more mindful lighting option for students.
