My Project

I am beyond lucky to work with a group of intelligent and motivated students in my special education classroom. Not only are my students motivated to grow in their reading, but they are also motivated to help me create an environment that will benefit the culture of our room.

We have two goals rolled into one: a space where students can go when they need to reset within a well-organized, functional, sensory-friendly classroom.

Some specifics include LED lamps to eliminate overhead lighting, calming scents for mood, a rug and bean bag for a reset zone with sensory tools, and items to organize the classroom so students can grow in their self-management.

We would be grateful for any help that you can provide!
