This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help me transform my classroom into an inviting place for my students. Students spend most of their days in a classroom learning. My students especially love coming to school to further their knowledge. My aspiration is to create a comfortable learning environment where my students can come in with a peaceful mind to be ready to learn.
Providing a safe and cozy classroom environment will support my students to feel welcomed and comfortable at school.
The classroom rug is a favorite meeting area for my students and me. My students love coming to the carpet and working on assignments. For example, they love reading their books, completing their writing assignments, and working on their Chromebooks on the carpet. In addition, writing, reading, math, and various other lessons are heard on the carpet. The classroom rug is a special area in the classroom where students are engaged and active in their learning. A classroom rug will allow my students to get out of their chairs and find an area in the classroom to positively impact their learning.
