Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach first grade to a group of creative, curious, independent, and very active 6-year-old students in El Cajon, CA. I want them to become life long learners and independent.
Even though many of them struggle at home, they come to school each day eager to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
I want them to have the opportunity to flourish and reach their potential. They deserve it and we should help!
My Project
The Super Magnet Lab Kit is a great way for students to use their creativity to come up with different geometrical shapes. This will allow them to practice and master the properties for all 2 and 3D shapes. The Learning Gears is innovated and will develop their problem-solving skills. Building their own moving structures will create teamwork while they share their building ideas and failures. Failure leads to success!
The opportunity to learn to code with robotic mice will be incredible.
It will allow them to develop higher thinking skills and build on teamwork! These are only of few of the things my students will be able to do in class with these items.
