Calling All American Girls

My students need 24 books from the American Girl series.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Goode's classroom raised $348

This project is fully funded

As a child I remember reading the American Girl series. I loved the adventures the girls from the different time periods would find themselves in. Without knowing I learned not only reading skills but also historical aspects from different time periods.

I teach second grade and my students love the American Girls. Our library only has a few copies of the different series. I want to be able to give my students the opportunity to read as many of these books as possible.

Remember being a child and being interested in something. It is an awesome to teach kids when they are enthusiastically interested in the material.

It is not in our schools budget to purchase all the books that our students are interested in. With your help, I will be able to provide these books to interested kids and keep them excited about reading.
