My Project

I am requesting classic literature in a graphic novel. Classic literature can be an incredible resource to help students with their literacy skills. However, for many new immigrants and English Language Learners, classic novels can be dry and inaccessible.

This is why I have found that students enjoy the graphic novel versions of classic literature.

"Call of the Wild", Jack London's timeless tale about man's best friend is filled with themes that children love, like friendship through adversity, and overcoming odds to succeed. And If my students get the chance to read it in graphic novel form, this will make English class highly enjoyable for them.
