My Students
Every morning our school shouts out our motto, which describes them as being a leader, responsible, respectful, resourceful, and proud. My students follow this motto in school and in life.
My students come from a city that has been considered one of the most dangerous cities in America.
Despite that, they are creating their own path to a successful future. It amazes me to see how fully engaged they are to learn each and every day. I feel privileged to teach such a great group of kids.
My Project
My students are in third grade. They know their days of the week and all the months of the year! That doesn't mean that we don't need a classroom calendar! Being organized with all our school events, having a calendar is essential! Being organized and keeping up with assignments that are due is a lifetime skill. I want to teach my students to use a calendar to stay organized in the classroom.
Organized life is a successful life!
My students also need a magnetic wipe off board for small group instruction. Every day during centers, we use paper to teach. With a wipe off board we will be able to save paper!
