My Project

A class calendar is a great way to start the morning and get the kids thinking as a group. They enjoy taking turns putting up the date and holidays.

My goal for this project is to familiarize young students with months, days, years, weather, and seasons.

These skills are often overlooked so having a calendar to display and use daily helps solidify those skills by the end of the school year.

My students feel special when they get to take a turn posting the date and leading the class with saying the month, day, and year. Groups of students would greatly benefit from this high-quality calendar for years to come.
