My Project

I teach K-3 special education in a hybrid classroom environment. I have 6 that are self-contained and 5 that are in an inclusion setting. I have recognized a huge deficit amongst all my grade levels regarding days of the week, months of the year, seasons, letter sounds, and basic math concepts. I would like to incorporate a calendar center that will address those weaknesses.

We would use this center on a daily basis to go over the current date, days of the week, months of the year, holidays, number of the day, letter of the week, and the math equation of the day.

There would be one math equation per grade level to solve. This center would be a great way to strengthen multiple skills in a fun and interactive way!
