This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, creative, and eager to solve problems in new ways. In our STEM Center, they are constantly challenged to think critically and apply math in real-world contexts. Having the right tools makes a big difference in building their confidence and success. That’s why I am requesting calculators, a holder to keep them organized, and a bag of Starburst to add a little extra motivation.

Calculators give students the power to focus on problem-solving and higher-level thinking rather than getting stuck on tedious calculations.

With these tools, they can analyze data, test ideas, and push their STEM learning to the next level. An organizer will help keep our materials neat and ready to use so that students can spend more time exploring, designing, and solving.

The treats are more than just a sweet/savory treat—they’re a burst of encouragement. Whether students are working through a tricky math problem, finishing a STEM project, or just need a little boost, a small reward helps create a positive and motivating learning environment. Together, these resources will help students stay engaged, organized, and excited to keep growing as problem solvers.
