This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are high school mathematicians in a project based learning environment. I love that they are exploring the applications of mathematics to the real world with their individual and unique perspectives.
Calculators will support my students in using tools appropriately to analyze the problem at hand, efficiently and accurately.
Students will use calculators in their statistical analysis of real world issues. They will also benefit from calculators when analyzing profit maximization problems using quadratic functions. They will also support my students with learning disabilities who need scaffolding to reach their highest potential.
