My Project

I teach a diverse community of students. At our school, we value Strong Minds and Good Hearts, and my students embody those principles.

To have them thrive in an increasingly data-driven world, we wish to provide as many students as possible with an opportunity to take AP Statistics.

Having the tools to understand and interpret information is a vital 21st-century skill.

A good graphing calculator is a necessary tool for developing the appropriate skills in statistics. It allows students to understand what their results mean rather than getting tangled up in procedures to calculate them.

Unfortunately, many of our students and their families struggle to make ends meet, so spending money on school supplies - especially technology - often takes a back seat.

Your generosity will allow us to lend students a calculator for the school year, allowing them to make the most of their opportunity to take higher-level math courses that they otherwise might have missed out on.
