This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are trail blazers! For the first time ever in the history of my school, two full classes of 8th graders will take the Regents Algebra 1 examination in June 2023! As their math teacher, I am excited for them and determined to help them succeed. And we need your help!

It is critical that we have graphing calculators for every student who will take the exam.

My school has been able to purchase a limited number of calculators. We don't have the funds to purchase any more. The cost of these calculators are too high for us to request the students' families to purchase them. Please help us provide this vital tool to our 8th graders!
