My Students
My students are driven, hard-working, bright, humorous, intelligent, and kind. My students come from a diverse range of backgrounds with different learning styles and academic needs. My students are highly motivated to do well, and are keeping a positive attitude during this time when so much has changed for them as high level math students.
My Project
These calculators will help my kids expand their knowledge in high school math courses that can sometimes strike fear into students. With the calculators, they will have a source of reassurance as they strive to comprehend higher level thinking. Although calculators can sometimes be a crutch, I feel it provides many of my students with simple assistance to ease them through topics that are unable to be solved through a small calculation. Ensuring that all of my students have access to a calculator will help them on their journey through math.
