My Project
The materials I am requesting are high-quality graphing calculators. We live in a rural community where exposure to STEM is not as prevalent. Many of my students opt to take higher-level and college-level math classes while still in high school. With these higher-level classes, comes the need for higher-level technology to make it engaging and purposeful. The school has a STEM class in which we are trying to connect math and science to application-based problems.
We are cultivating their curiosity while giving them a solid foundation to go out and make the world a better place.
We have many graduates going into engineering, science, and technical fields, in which the knowledge gained from this will give them the boost they need to be successful. In a world that is ever changing, our goal is to give access to these technology tools and give our students the best education possible.
