In my carpentry class, students are earning personal toolsets through my "Earn Your Edge" toolbox program. As part of this initiative, I am requesting construction calculators for each student. These calculators will allow students to master complex measurements and calculations while they build a mobile handicap-accessible hunting house for United States military wounded warriors.
This isn't just about crunching complex numbers - it's about teaching the students the professional standards of carpentry, giving them the tools to perform at a higher level, and enabling them to give back to others in a meaningful way.
