My Project

I teach at one of the most diverse public schools in Portland, Oregon. It is filled with hundreds of students who hold immense potential to be successful. Just about halfway done with my 5th year of teaching and I'm grateful to be able to teach the group of students I have. They are funny, energetic, and deserve the basic learning tools to succeed.

My students deserve a transformative educational experience because they are dreamers, hard workers, and the future of this nation.

They are bright, eager to learn, and ready to take on any challenges they may face. However, facing those challenges comes much easier when my students actually have supplies to utilize. This includes calculators, notebooks, and expo markers for when we do any whiteboard activities.
