My Students
Help the students in our classroom have access to quality math materials so they can thrive in an academic setting!
The students in my room are 75% free and reduced lunch recipients, and come from a variety of backgrounds.
They speak different languages at home and come to school to build their academic skills in a supportive environment so that they can fulfill their families dreams as well as their own personal dreams.
My Project
With these materials the students in my class will be able to double check their math problems, play fun games like "Beat The Calculator" (students test their multiplication skills against the calculator!) and find the square root of different numbers. Many of the math games in our class require students to check their work against a calculator, here's an opportunity to provide them to the kids in my class!
