This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I need 2 class sets of calculators to help students better learn new concepts. our school has an extra section of math for one period and having a double set will allow all students access to the same tools making it more equitable. The calculators help the students break through the barriers created by learning gaps. My students struggle in math pre pandemic, however the pandemic made it worse. Access to calculators in class helps tremendously. My school doesn't allow students to have cell phones and computers are in limited supply.
