My Project
My students are some of the most hard-working kids I have ever met. Each of them has a challenge to overcome whether it is a learning disablilty, autism, intellectual disability, or emotional disability. At times when they enter my classroom, they have a hard time thinking about the future and all that it potentially holds for them. Some love math but others struggle and feel like they'll never graduate especially if they have to pass algebra.
Help me give my students the tools they need to be successful!
The TI-84 is required for the algebra curriculum and while I have a classroom set, the ones that I am requesting through this project use colored graphs. This will help all of my students make faster and stronger connections to the concepts we are learning. It will also help my visual learners see solutions that they otherwise have difficulty seeing on the traditional displays.
