This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students work incredibly hard both in school and at home. Most of my students have part-time (some full time) jobs after school to help bring in extra income to support their families.

Many of my students have financial commitments outside of class so school supplies have to come second.

Nearly all of my students fall below the poverty line, yet they still make it to school every day so they will be able to have a better future. Each student in my class will go the extra mile, and you can help to contribute to their success.

My Project

Help me help my students! The items I'm asking for are to help them succeed in their AP Physics C: Mechanics course and (hopefully) earn some college credit while they're at it.

Organized notes and the ability to accurately do complex calculations are the building blocks of successful Physics!

By helping me to supply my students with high quality calculators and quad ruled notebooks (graph paper), they will be able to sketch the diagrams, calculate the variables, and above all, stay organized!

The TI-84 Plus CE Calculator can not only keep up with the calculus, it can also be integrated with a computer to project the work on the whiteboard so that the entire class can benefit.
