Cafeteria: More Than Just Lunch!

Help me give my students more positive reinforcement throughout the school day by giving them the opportunity to earn tickets and get the ability to play games during lunch or buy a fidget at our school “store”.

My Project

We are looking to provide our middle schoolers with more opportunities to connect with each other in the cafeteria and getting them off of their screens! We are "banning" Chromebooks from the cafeteria and giving them opportunities to check out games in the cafeteria to encourage connecting with their peers in a way that does not revolve around screens.

We are also using fidgets and other tools to improve their social emotional health which in turn allows them to learn much better.

Our students at GMS are wonderful kids who deserve the opportunity to have these fun things at their finger tips. It is our goal this year to give our students more positive things for being great students and people over all and your contribution will help us do that!
