My Students
I teach a variety of students, from ELL students to students who need creative ways to learn. They need targeted interaction and are very hands-on learners. These students do not have access to technology. As I begin this online endeavor I’ll need more tools.
The students come from a variety of non-native English-speaking backgrounds and are almost unaware of alternate careers.
They see parents working hard but do not have that opportunity to see others or be involved in seeing a college. They need support, resources and creative background building.
My Project
This project will help brighten up the new space our Middle School has for this coming school year. Last year was tough for so many and we are creating an inviting space where intervention will be taking place. Our goal is to have kids feel comfortable and create a work space that will foster creativity and autonomous learning.
These furniture items will help bring the dream of having a relaxed setting for my kids to learn but also feel comfortable.
The area will be used by multiple grades and will need to be a place where any student is able to feel successful and have the whole child nurtured.
