This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Two new 3D printers in our elementary STEM classroom will empower students by transforming their ideas into tangible projects, enhancing engagement, and providing deeper understanding opportunities. With 3D printers, students can create prototypes for projects, allowing them to apply the engineering design process— designing, testing, and refining their creations. This hands-on experience builds problem-solving skills as they troubleshoot design flaws.
Students will get familiar with new technology and be ahead of the game when they get to high school and enter the workforce.
Exposing students to different topics in STEM is important to help prepare for their future.
