My Project
I am a 3rd special education teacher in a school that consists of culturally and linguistically diverse students. I moved into a new classroom last year that was used for storage but has no storage, no bookshelves and no closets!
Having an organized, neat and inviting classroom for my students without having to live and teach out of plastic boxes would be so beneficial to their social-emotional well being.
The metal storage cabinets and filing cabinet would enable to create an inviting and neat classroom for my students and make them feel welcome. All of my students' writing, art and classroom supplies would be neatly put into these cabinets.
This would enable me to encourage my students' responsibility and independence. If they needed a pencil, notebook, eraser, any art supply etc., all they would need to do was go to the cabinet and take what they needed.
This would be a dream for me as a teacher! Thanking you in advance for helping me to help my amazing students!
