C-Pen Reader to Read Aloud Questions for Students With Disabilities
Help me give my students a C-Pen reader that can read questions on tests when their disability makes it difficult for them to read without a struggle.

My Students
Our school is a public high school in California located in a suburban setting. Our school aims to foster global citizenship and mental wellness. The stakeholders, including parents at our school live by the proverb it takes a village.
My classroom is a mild/moderate special education classroom.
Students in my class receive modifications or accommodations to access curriculum. Reading comprehension is particularly challenging. My class focuses on helping students identify strategies that work for them, to develop skills and values to succeed beyond high school.
My Project
When a human being reads test questions aloud, it can shine unsolicited attention on the student. With the C-Pen Exam Reader device, a student with reading difficulties can hear questions read-aloud instantaneously and discreetly. A student is more likely to have test questions read aloud by a neutral device such as a C-Pen Exam Reader, a device that can read out test questions without drawing attention, causing embarrassment or anxiety. My hope is that students with reading difficulties will use this device during tests regularly to hear the questions, respond to questions with greater accuracy and improve their performance on tests.
