Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of durable mesh baggies to store student headphones and use as book baggies. In the past, we’ve relied on disposable Zip Lock bags, but they break easily and require frequent replacements. This not only disrupts students’ routines but also creates unnecessary waste. By transitioning to reusable mesh baggies, we aim to provide students with a more organized and consistent way to store their learning tools while reducing our environmental impact.
These mesh bags will help students take better care of their materials, build responsibility, and stay focused during lessons.
For our classroom community, this small shift supports our broader goal of being more intentional and eco-conscious in our daily practices.
