My Students
Every student that I encounter has unique qualities about them. It is a wonderful feeling to help each and everyone of them at my best. These students live in low income homes. They are in need of simple things like food, school supplies, toiletries, anything on a daily basis that we have. They are so caring about all the mentors they have in the school. Every student I see have different up bringings and situations in their home. With that being said, no matter what they have been through they are always excited to see one another and myself and the other mentors in the building.
My Project
These materials such as lice shampoo, bug spray, shower cap, lice preventitatives will help our students by giving them a better night sleep, better learning time at school, and to feel comfortable. We have a major problem with lice issues at our school and it interferes with the students learning time. Please help us get these things that will let our kids feel normal without creepy crawlers in their hair and house! It is so important for our students to be in school and since we have a no lice policy they miss multiple days that every go into weeks because of the infestation of lice in their homes! Help!!
