Buzzing Around With Bee-Bots

Help me give my students Bee-bot robots and the rechargeable station to integrate STEAM activites into my 2nd grade class.

My Project

It is never too early to introduce technology into the classroom. I have a class of 14 girls and 11 boys and it is especially important to introduce STEAM activities to all my students but particularly girls. Historically, there has been a gender gap in STEM fields, with fewer women pursuing careers in these areas. As I prepare my students for the future I can open the door to a wealth of possibilities to prepare them for careers in the future.

Bee-bots robots will have my class buzzing with creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Coding also introduces basic mathematical concepts, such as sequencing and patterns, in a hands-on and engaging way, it sparks creativity and curiosity, while encouraging students to explore and experiment with different coding possibilities. Overall, incorporating coding robots into the classroom provides a fun and interactive avenue for learning essential skills.
