This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This projects aims to acquire grocery shopping learning materials to support learning financial literacy reinforcing money skills, enhancing their ability to budget and make good decision making. The food baskets and play food would be helpful to motivate my students with special needs demonstrate the necessary skills through buying and selling activity in a grocery set-up. Other materials can be modified through differentiated instruction. I am hoping that we will be supported again in the hope of collecting more relevant, appropriate and interesting materials. These will be a great help in enhancing more functional academic skills and other important life skills.
