Sharing who we are as individuals helps in providing support for all students searching for their sense of belonging. I want to provide a way for students to share kindness and acceptance through self-expression.
My goal for an end-of-year project is for students to participate in making Buttons of Belonging in a school-wide collaborative project.
Button making materials for students to create buttons with messages and images of kindness for a school-wide collaborative project would be a great end of year project that will leave a lasting impact on my students. Once buttons are designed and made, students can trade with each other as well as teachers and school staff to facilitate an over arching sense of belonging across my school community.
