My Students
As our schools moved to distance learning this fall, a shift in preparation and execution of lessons become necessary to enable students to meet the same standards as those in the classroom. I have already created really cool "kits" for my STEAM students' hands on remote learning experiences but I would really like to reward their incredible hard work with a token of appreciation: the old fashioned button maker!
My students love buttons and I want to harness their love of collecting buttons by designing and making a series of buttons for them to earn with their continued engagement and hard work in our virtual classrooms.

Distance learning has become the new "norm" for students this fall. With the lessons we learn in the spring, we are working together with our students to create engaging and fun virtual classrooms. But they are kids and kids like a reward now and then.
How can we rewards our students for a good well-done when we don't get to see them in person?
How can we create a token of appreciation that can be sent through the mail? My solution is a button maker.
Kids love buttons and how cool would it be to get a custom button illustrating their online learning success and effort? I asked my students how they like the idea and they were very excited.
