My Project

Help Us Press Creativity: A Button Maker for Our Art Studio & Club!

My Students:

Our high school is home to an incredible group of young people who thrive on self-expression and community engagement. In our after-school Art Club, students explore different mediums to create work that reflects their creativity, identities, cultures, and passions. They love sharing their creativity with the school and the broader community, and they are always looking for new ways to make their voices heard—literally and visually!

My Project:

We are requesting a button maker and supplies to give our students an exciting new way to create and share their artwork. Buttons are small but powerful: they allow students to express their creativity, promote social causes, support school events, and even raise funds for future projects.

With this button maker, our students will:

Design & Wear Their Art – Students will turn their drawings, paintings, and digital designs into wearable art.

Raise Awareness – Art Club members often focus on social justice themes, and buttons will help spread their messages about important issues.

Support School Spirit & Fundraisers – Custom buttons can be used to promote school events, clubs, and fundraisers, helping students take ownership of their school community.

Develop Entrepreneurial Skills – Students can learn how to design, produce, and distribute buttons, gaining hands-on experience in small-scale production and marketing.

Why It Matters:

A button maker is more than just a tool; it's a way to amplify student voices in an accessible and engaging format. Whether they are making art for fun, advocacy, or school spirit, this project will empower our students to see their creativity make an impact beyond the classroom.

Thank you for supporting our young artists and helping us bring this exciting opportunity to our school!
