I teach a program for 18-21 year old students with Autism who are learning vocational and independence skills. We would like a button maker and supplies so we can make and sell buttons in a class run business to practice vocational skills and raise funds for our classroom. Students can work on their fine motor skills, as well as following lists and completing step-by-step tasks. Once students fill orders they can work on their social skills when they deliver the orders. Experiences from this button business will help them learn skills to gain employment after leaving our program.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
